Headed by the Vienna Vegetable Orchestra (VVO), Aldeburgh Music throws open the doors of its fabulous new Hoffmann Building and world-famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall for a weekend of concerts, free events, demonstrations, site tours and a spectacular installation of super-sized tubular bells.
Headline act on Saturday 25 Sept at 1pm and 2pm is a garden orchestra like no other: the VVO play an eclectic mix of Free Jazz, contemporary music, beat-oriented House tracks, experimental Electronic, and Dub – on instruments hand-crafted for each performance from seasonal vegetables!
