Guided Walk Thorndon to Eye

7 mile walk with lunch at The Black Horse. This beautiful mid Suffolk route features open countryside, peaceful meadows, passing through Eye Town Moor and visiting the historic town of Eye with its castle remains and magnificent church, both of which we shall visit. Returning to the pub for lunch at approximately 1.30pm. Park at The Black Horse, Thorndon, nr Eye.

  Snape Marshes Guided Walk  
  Experience Suffolk Wildlife Trust's newest reserve. Lying on the north bank of the River Alde, between Snape Maltings and the village of Snape, the Marshes are rich in a mix of wetland habitat, including grazing marshes, reedbed, scrub and woodland. Join Mick Wright, warden of this significant reserve for an informal guided walk and discover why this piece of land is an exciting step towards our goal of a living landscape.

  Food and the Landscape - a walk through history  
  A look at how the food producers of the past have shaped today's landscape. A minimum of 3 miles. Please wear comfortable and suitable footwear for uneven terrain and a waterproof (just in case!). Well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome as are under 16s if accompanied by an adult.
