Aspall, established 1728. All Aspall cyders are made from a complex blend of bothbitter-sweet and culinary apples fermented from 100% English apple juice, which gives them their exquisite taste profile. The cyder blends are based on the original recipes which have been handed down eight generations of the Chevallier Guild family since 1728. This means they have been tried and tested through the centuries, and the quality of the product has been consistently recognised through numerous awards.
Examples include:
Aspall Premier Cru was again named the World’s Best Cider for the second year running.
Aspall Organic Suffolk Cyder and Aspall Draught Suffolk Cyder both won awards at the Great Taste Awards 09.
Aspall won three awards at the East Anglia Food and Drinks Awards 09: Producer of the Year, Best
Suffolk Drink for Aspall Perronelle’s Blush and Best Suffolk Product for Aspall Organic Cyder.

Food Safari specialises in gourmet food experiences in Suffolk that go one or two steps beyond a traditional cookery school.
Food Safari events and workshops take you behind the scenes of some of Suffolk’s best food and drink producers combining farm walks, food forays and fishing trips with hands-on butchery classes and cookery workshops. Each day culminates in a feast, usually featuring the fruits of your day, whether that’s game, wild food or seafood.
On a Food Safari you will meet dedicated and inspiring producers like Pinneys of Orford (oysters and smoked fish), the Wild Meat Company (game), and Blythburgh Free Range Pork. You will hear the fascinating stories behind these products, see how they are produced, and even get your hands dirty skinning a rabbit, making sausages or making cheese.
For more information, see www.foodsafari.co.uk, email Polly Robinson on polly@foodsafari.co.uk or telephone 01728 621380.
