Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) champions the landscape for those living and working in and visiting the area. It is one of Britain’s finest landscapes, covering 155 square miles including wildlife-rich wetlands, ancient heaths, windswept shingle beaches and historic towns and villages.
Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB works in partnership to conserve and enhance the protected landscape by sharing expertise, helping people enjoy responsible recreation, and delivering practical improvements. It influences change to the landscape and its setting in a positive way, and manages projects that do so, including assisting local conservation by grant-giving. One project it manages is Touching the Tide, a Heritage Lottery Fund Landscape Partnership that works with local communities to explore the changing coastline – join the team for some events during the Fringe! www.touchingthetide.org
The Festival Fringe is delighted to receive funding from the AONB Sustainable Development Fund (SDF) which supports projects that benefit the environment, economy and society without jeopardising the future use of resources's.

Thursday Cottage was started in a Somerset kitchen in 1963. We may have moved to Essex but nothing much has changed since then, the batches are still small with about 100 jars made from every boil, the ingredients the finest we can find and the recipes simple and deliciously fresh.
We make over 100 different curds, jams, marmalades, fruit coulis and a host of Christmas and gifting products. We also make organic and reduced sugar jams and marmalades. All our food is handmade in small batches and cooked in open pans. We stir the fresh ingredients by hand and fill by hand when we can (you get more whole fruit hand pouring) and then hand pack our finished goods off to our customers.
You won't find Thursday Cottage products in the major supermarkets because we like to support independent trade, which is where we started over fifty years ago.We supply farm shops, delis, foodhalls and garden centres countrywide and export worldwide.
The most traditional of English jam makers, Wilkin & Sons Limited, have been producing their ‘Tiptree’ conserves since 1885. The Wilkin family have grown fruit at Tiptree since 1757; the company now farms around 900 acres and uses the fruit grown on the estate in a wide variety of premium products.
The ‘Tiptree’ range includes jam, jelly, marmalade, honey, curd and more recently fruit gin liqueurs, alongside a full savoury product selection, sauces and Christmas puddings. Wilkin & Sons Limited have held a Royal Warrant for the supply of products to the reigning King or Queen of England for over 100 years.
As stipulated back in 1885 by founder Arthur Charles Wilkin, all ‘Tiptree’ products are of the finest possible quality and free from artificial preservatives, additives or colourings. This commitment to quality is stronger today than ever.
